Light, oxygen, and photosensitizer, those three elements compose Photodynamic Therapy (PDT) that enables the disposal of undesired cells, including pathogens and cancer cells.
This non-invasive treatment is already medically approved and used in oncology. However, PDT exhibits also significant bactericidal effects which pose the main aim of our recent studies.
